Like normal PLA, Wood filament is easy to work with and delivers great reliable results. However, it is slightly softer than pure PLA because the softness of the wood particles affects the overall stiffness of the material.


Printing Wood PLA Filament
When printing with composite materials such as wood PLA, it is advisable to use a slightly larger nozzle. This reduces the chance of blockages. In addition, because of the wood particles, it is also wise to use a wear-resistant nozzle.
